The summary sharing session of the 21st Shenzhen Reading Month and the opening ceremony of the second Shenzhen Book Fair were successfully held at Shenzhen Central Book City on the evening of 27 November.
At the ceremony, Wang Qiang, member of the Standing Committee of the Shenzhen Municipal Party Committee and minister of publicity, and Wu Yihuan, vice mayor of Shenzhen, presented awards to organisations that have made outstanding contributions to Shenzhen Reading Month.
Joy Wing Mau Corporation won the award ‘Special Supporter’ of Shenzhen Reading Month, with company president Zhang Jian accepting the award.
Joy Wing Mau has sponsored the large-scale literary festival for the past three years to help promote reading throughout the community. The company’s high-end fruit brand, Joyvio Blueberry, also remained the strategic cooperation brand of Shenzhen Reading Month for the third consecutive year.

As the 21st Shenzhen Reading Month reached its climax, the 2020 South China Book Festival and the second Shenzhen Book Fair were also officially launched on the same night, bringing a ten-day book feast for the reading public.
As the official fruit brand of China’s women’s volleyball team, Joyvio Blueberry has integrated its brand concept ‘Knowledge is important, so is eye care’ with the cultural idea ‘Read more books, read good books’. Its booth at the opening ceremony of the Shenzhen Book Fair gained much attention from the leaders of Shenzhen Municipal Party Committee and government (pictured below).

Shenzhen Reading Month is a large-scale literary festival established by Shenzhen Municipal Party Committee and Shenzhen Municipal Government in 2000.
Taking place every November for the past 20 years, it is the longest continuous nationwide reading activity in China.
