US Medjool date supplier wants to reach south-east Asian markets with new chocolate-wrapped range
US producer Natural Delights is targeting markets in south-east Asia with its new line of flavoured, chocolate-wrapped Medjool date ‘Truffles’.
The indulgent value-added product comes in three flavours: Chocolate Blueberry, Chocolate Cherry, and Dark Chocolate with Probiotic Added.
The range launched in the US at the start of the 2022, receiving positive customer feedback, and Natural Delights revealed its plan to expand supply to Asia by the end of the year, starting in Indonesia and Malaysia.
The supplier’s wider product portfolio includes pitted dates (its biggest seller), whole dates, and blended date and nut snacks called Mini Medjools.
Natural Delights already ships these products to importers in Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia and Japan, with plans to expand to Thailand and the Philippines in future.
Production is based America’s Bard Valley within a 150-square-mile radius at the intersection of Arizona, California and Mexico.
