The move comes as part of the supermarket’s partnership with ACX Holdings, the retail arm of the Philippines’ Ayala Corporation, and will see Spinneys launch 12 stores over the next four years.

According to ABS-CBN News, the first two locations will open at UP Town Center in Quezon City and San Antonio Plaza Arcade in Makati, with launch dates set for the last quarter of 2026.

The chain will offer Filipino customers a range of imported items alongside high-quality private labels tailored to local tastes.

“Spinneys is a valuable addition to the Philippine grocery landscape,” Mariana Zobel de Ayala, managing director of Ayala Corporation and head of leasing and hospitality at Ayala Land told ABS-CBN News.

“Premium grocery retail today is about more than what’s on the shelves – it’s about curation, service, and the joy of discovery,” she added. “The entry of Spinneys brings a new dimension to grocery shopping, expanding the range of choices available locally and further enriching our dynamic retail landscape.”
