The Exeter Festival of South West Food and Drink will take place on March 26-28, 2004. The event will bring together regional food, wines, beers and ciders in a celebration of distinctive West Country produce.

Around the city pubs, restaurants, cafes and hotels will offer visitors a taste of South West produce. Michael Caines, head chef and co director of Gidleigh Park said: “The Exeter Festival of South West Food and Drink offers producers, restaurateurs and the people of the South West a unique opportunity to showcase and celebrate all that is wonderful about this fantastic region. As an ambassador for the South West it gives me immense pride to be involved in such an event and I look forward to it being a great success and one that will go on to become an annual event.”
