The new Tesco Finest Red Kale has a striking leaf colour and sweeter flavour, and adds to AH Worth’s premium brassica range
Veg supplier AH Worth has launched a new purple-red kale into Tesco’s Finest range as it continues to strengthen its premium brassica offering.
Tesco Finest Red Kale, available in 275 Tesco stores nationwide and online from 15 December, will sit alongside AH Worth’s existing green kale and cavolo nero ranges.
Grown in Lincolnshire, the new kale has a striking purple-red leaf and slightly sweeter flavour, with versatility across a wide range of cooked dishes.
“Kale continues to perform well as shoppers look for more choice and versatility in the brassica category,” said AH Worth commercial manager, Darren Huxtable.
”Tesco Finest Red Kale taps into the appetite for veg that adds colour, flavour and convenience, giving home cooks an easy way to bring something new to their meals.
