New spicy and smoky variants are launching in Morrisons

Albert Bartlett has partnered with two leading chees brands – Mexicana and Applewood – to create a duo of indulgent cheesy mash products that are launching this autumn.

The collaboration brings together Albert Bartlett’s creamy mash, blended with the popular cheese brands.

The spicy cheese mash made with Mexicana is said to deliver a fiery blend of cheddar, chilli, jalapeños, bell peppers and Mexican-inspired spices, bringing a bold and exciting kick to the classic comfort food.

The smoky cheese mash, meanwhile, is made with Applewood cheese, creating a rich and smooth mash with a smoky flavour.

The new Cheesy Mash range will be available from mid-September in Morrisons.

Albert Bartlett noted that more consumers are moving into the growing chilled potato category, with mash remaining the key attraction, and the new options are intended to inspire even more meal occasions, particularly as temperatures drop and consumers seek some wholesome and comforting winter food.
