Discounter has lowered prices on a wide range of products

Aldi has reduced prices on hundreds of products in January, with fresh produce among the reductions.
The price drops apply to a range of everyday items, from fresh and frozen food and cupboard staples to household essentials and personal care products, the supermarket said.
Sweetcorn is down 4p to 55p, while Vegetable Pieces & Meatballs are 50p off at £1.49. In total, Aldi said the January cuts reflect an investment of more than £22 million in lowering prices.
Julie Ashfield, chief commercial officer at Aldi UK, said: “We know that customers are continuing to feel the pressure of the weekly shop, which is why we’re constantly reviewing prices across our range to ensure we offer our customers the lowest possible prices.
“These latest price reductions cover hundreds of everyday products, including a number of healthy options, and form part of our ongoing commitment to delivering great value without compromising on quality.”
