In a joint operation between the Gangmasters Licensing Authority (GLA) and West Midlands Police, two people have been arrested on suspicion of supplying temporary workers without a valid GLA licence in the farming sector.

Two men aged 26 and 49 were arrested and a third person, a woman, was also been detained. One of the men and the woman were identified as being illegal in the UK and the woman, who was heavily pregnant, has been handed over to the UK Borders Agency.

The arrested men were released following interview and will be re-interviewed on 21 November.
