An opportunity for local food producers to unravel the mysteries of bar coding will be provided by Tastes of Anglia at a workshop next month.
Julie West, deputy chief executive of Tastes of Anglia said: ëSome of our members have been providing bar codes on their products for many years, particularly if they are dealing with supermarkets and high profile London stores. There is perhaps a psychological barrier to bar codes but the system is nothing like as difficult to adopt as some people might imagine.”
