Mark Crawford has overseen strong growth at the tropical fruit supplier, and leaves the business for new role
Global sales and marketing director of tropical fruit supplier Blue Skies, Mark Crawford, is stepping down from the business to pursue a new opportunity.
During his tenure, which included the Covid pandemic, Crawford saw the business go from £110million to £250m turnover in 2025, increase global recruitment and launch new categories including fruit desserts.
Writing on LinkedIn, he said: “After an amazing six years here at Blue Skies I have decided it is time for me to take up a new challenge.
“I joined Blue Skies in September 2019, attracted by its amazing focus on sustainability and making a real difference in communities across Africa, Brazil and the UK – plus a range of exceptional prepared fruit and dairy free ice cream products.
“This is a business that has so much more potential as consumers discover the amazing taste and value of ripe fruit, properly prepared in the best place.”
Crawford begins a new role in September but declined to give more detail.
