The UK Commercial Horticulture Association (CHA) says it will showcase the best of British commercial horticulture at the Fruit Attraction trade show in Spain next month.

The group revealed yesterday (31 August) that it will host UK companies focused on ”innovation, new technology and ingenuity” at its pavilion at the show, which takes place in Madrid on 3-5 October.

CHA event manager Lydia Stubbs said: ”We have worked closely with the organisers of Fruit Attraction for a number of years to bring UK companies to this market. It’s an excellent event, giving our members great exposure to potential customers and collaborators from around the world.

”With the UK commercial horticulture sector’s global reputation for excellence, the CHA pavilion is an unmissable destination for operators and retailers looking for the best of commercial horticulture products and services.”

The CHA said its team will be on hand to welcome retailers, wholesalers and suppliers from around the world, alongside the Department for Business and Trade (DBT) from the British Embassy in Madrid, who will be available to answer questions about importing into and exporting out of the UK market.

UK companies exhibiting at the CHA pavilion include fruit-coating manufacturer AgriCoat NatureSeal; grower Fresh4U Produce; agritech firm Martin Lishman Ltd; biosecurity supplier Coventry Chemicals; financial expert GPS Capital Markets; and forecasting software provider Fresh4cast, the CHA said.

CHA is the British trade association for manufacturers and suppliers of plants, products and services to commercial horticultural growers throughout the world.

“Visitors are welcome to the stand in Hall 8 Stand 8B15 to discover more about the UK horticultural sector as a whole, as well as find out more from the contingent of progressive companies exhibiting,” the CHA said.
