Compass Group’s hospitality business, Levy Restaurants UK, has agreed an international tie up with Chelsea Football Club.

The collaboration, building on an existing partnership, sees Levy Restaurants becoming the club’s official catering partner, covering the Chelsea FC estate from Stamford Bridge to its training facility in Surrey, a private members’ club, music venue Under the Bridge and two restaurants, Marco Grill and Frankie’s Sports Bar and Diner.

Levy has created a new logo reflecting its status as the club’s official catering partner, which will appear on uniforms, food-related promotional material and customer feedback forms.

The restaurant company previously worked with Chelsea on matchday food and drink as well as premium hospitality. It will also now be servicing non-matchday events such as meetings, exhibitions and corporate occasions.

Colin Bailey, managing director at Levy Restaurants UK, said: “We are excited to be developing our relationship with Chelsea FC as they look to further enhance their visitor offering.

“Our two brands both have huge global exposure, expertise and most significantly shared values. Our partnership reflects our joint commitment to putting the customer at the heart of our proposition, embracing British and global dining trends and emergent fan-engagement technologies to ensure we provide a truly memorable visitor experience.”

Ron Gourlay, Chelsea chief executive, added: “We are delighted to be working closely alongside Levy Restaurants to enhance the experience of the wide array of visitors we welcome to Stamford Bridge throughout the year.

“They have developed a reputation for excellence in events at sporting venues and I look forward to a successful partnership.”
