Crop protection veteran joins Syngenta

Crop protection industry stalwart Sue Hutchinson has joined Syngenta in the newly-created role of head of marketing operations for vegetable seeds.

Hutchinson, who has previously worked at Dow AgroSciences and ProCam UK, will head up marketing, campaign activities and product launches for Syngenta’s vegetable seeds business across the UK, Ireland and the Nordics.

She brings extensive experience to the role after a career that so far spans 30 years in theagricultural crop protection industry in roles covering customer service, supply chain and commercial.

Commenting on the appointment, Syngenta said Hutchinson’s’ commercial experience and existing contacts within the industry “will prove a valuable resource to the vegetable seeds business as it continues to grow and develop.”
