UK vegetable seed company appoints Dick Visser to help it enter new markets outside Europe and the Americas

Experienced seedsman Dick Visser has joined independent vegetable seed company Tozer as its new sales director for Africa, the Middle East and Asia.

Visser has worked in the seed industry for over 30 years and joins Tozer Seeds Netherlands, Tozer’s Dutch subsidiary in Andijk, in the heart of the so-called Seed Valley.

He is responsible for the ongoing development of international sales outside Europe and the Americas.

Tozer opened its Dutch warehouse and office in 2021 to mitigate logistical issues associated with Brexit.

Visser said: “I am looking forward to exploring new markets for Tozer in areas that they are yet to capitalise on.”

Tozer MD Steve Winterbottom added: “I have known Dick for a long time and it’s a pleasure that he’s come on board. His knowledge of territories we have yet to enter will be invaluable as we continue to grow our business globally.”
