Ghanian pineapple producers are on the way to completing a varietal changeover to MD2.
Stephen Mintah, general manager of Sea Freight Pineapple Exporters of Ghana (SPEG) said the conversion to MD2 pineapple, which accounts for 70 percent of the harvest, will be completed in one year.
