Henderson Brown turns recruitment upside down

Food sector recruitment specialist Henderson Brown appears to have been one of its own biggest clients of late after making its third new appointment in three months.

Charlie Palmer Bester, the firm’s new senior recruiter, will use his 10 years in the fresh produce and horticulture industry to ensure candidates get the best placements.

Steven Henderson, director of Henderson Brown, said: “We are pleased to welcome Charlie to the team, which is growing at quite a rate. Our recent growth, which has seen us move to new, larger offices, is essentially down to the success of our business plan: to take a 'no nonsense' approach to recruitment in the food and horticulture industries."

Bester formerly worked at a large fresh produce grower in a commercial capacity.

He said: “Throughout my career I have worked in fresh produce and horticulture and I look forward to being able to use my knowledge of these industries to the benefit of Henderson Brown, its clients and candidates.

“I’ve always enjoyed the challenges of people management so this new position will enable me to focus my efforts on that area. It is a natural progression from my previous role and I am looking forward to the new challenge.”
