A leading research body has launched a book explaining agriculture production and handling practices play a part in the modern supply chain.

The Campden & Chorleywood Food Research Association Group's (CCFRA) publication covers examples of production methods, safety issues, product quality and animal welfare in a bid to clarify the food industry's understanding of agriculture.

And food professionals are set to benefit from the glossary of agricultural definitions, included in the tome.

The reference work is the latest in the Key Topic in Food Science & Technology series by CCFRA.
