Rijk Zwaan’s Salanova lettuce has been nominated for a prestigious Polish award. The Fresh Market Award goes to the most innovative product in the fresh produce sector and will be announced on 28 September at the Fresh Market Fair & Conference in Warsaw.
Salanova has gained a strong foothold in the Polish market since its introduction four years ago and will be up against eight other nominees including Swedeponic’s fresh-cut herbs, Hajduk’s fresh sliced mushrooms, and Carota’s Fitness carrot snack packs.
The awards are in their second year and online voting has already opened.
