Jupiter Group has continued its recent blitz of international activity by signing an agreement with Argentinian company Early Grapes SA (EGSA).

EGSA has more than 30 years of experience in supplying fresh produce from South America to the main markets globally, according to Jupter.

The contract was signed in October at Jupiter's UK headquarters, with chief executive Mark Tweddle and group managing director Yvonne Tweddle joined by EGSA directors Martin Valle and Enrique Tolomei.

“After two successful years working together, we are pleased to solidify our relationship with Jupiter, formally becoming their strategic partners,' said Valle. 'Our experience in the South American market create great synergies with Jupiter’s client base across the globe, and I am genuinely convinced that this alliance will bring great results to both companies.'

Mark Tweddle said: “We’re thrilled to formally welcome EGSA into the Jupiter family. The first two years of our partnership have been very successful and we look forward to working with and further strengthening our relationship over the coming years. EGSA’s strength in South America and Russia complement our existing sales strategy perfectly and we’re excited to further explore these regions.'

Valle added: “Our offices in Moscow and St Petersburg are already working very closely with Jupiter growing regions such as citrus from RSA, pineapples from Costa Rica, grapes from India and Chile and also mixed trucks from Holland.'
