Leading Edge has won a silver award for technical achievement at this year’s Flexographic Printing Awards.

The award was for the Mr Men & Little Miss Sticker Booklet produced for its customers Sunmark and Chingfords.

The sticker booklets were launched on a range of organic fruits branded under the Mr Men and Little Miss character licence. The booklets were created to appeal to children and aimed to encourage repeat purchase. Each label booklet contained a concealed “Peel & Collect” sticker produced by Leading Edge. More than 80 different types of the collectable sticker were produced using 13 colours and multi-web construction, each containing one of the Mr Men or Little Miss characters.

Paul Brown, technical director or Leading Edge, said: “Since 2000, Leading Edge has been consistently recognised by the European Flexo Technical Association (EFTA) Awards for the quality of print and innovative products we design and manufacture.

“We continually strive for quality, excellence and innovation in all that we do. The awards and recognition we have achieved is testament to this, and the hard-work which goes into the product and the service we offer.”
