Mack has donated over £15,000 to Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) during the last year after raising money through bake sales, raffles, sweepstakes, and other fundraising initiatives.
The charity was chosen as Mack’s charity of the year for 2016-17 following a staff vote.
Managing director Nigel Trood said: “We’re proud to be able to donate to such a great cause. Our employees have worked hard to support fundraising and this is reflected in the final total.”
Charitable donations help GOSH fund vital research, advanced equipment, child and family support services, and the refurbishment of wards and medical facilities.
GOSH head of community fundraising, Laura Savory, said: “We’re so grateful to everyone at Mack for their generosity and support. The money raised will help to make a huge difference to young patients and families from across the UK.'
