The BBC Good Food Show has teamed up with the producers of MasterChef to launch MasterChef Live.

The event, on November 13-15, will see one of Britain’s best-loved TV food programmes brought to life at London Olympia to replace the BBC Good Food Show London.

The show will be themed with features from the TV programme, including previous winners of the TV series, features from the show including the Invention Test and the chance to pick up new skills in MasterClasses.

The Cookery Experience, sponsored by Sainsbury's, will play host to MasterChef cook-off sessions, where the culinary might of previous contestants will be pitted against each other.

Ten of London’s top eateries, including Theo Randall at the Intercontinental, Blue Elephant, Roast and the MasterChef Restaurant, will be serving signature dishes at the event.

Hundreds of exhibitors have been lined up so that visitors can sample some of the finest foods from London’s best restaurants.

The organisers said: “We’re so excited about this that we’re taking it on the road. Visitors to the BBC Good Food Show Birmingham will be able to take part in key elements from London’s show, including The Invention Test, demonstrations and skills workshops with appearances from John Torode, Gregg Wallace and a whole host of previous MasterChef winners.”
