A new trade event for the Mediterranean Rim will have its first outing in April 2009, when Medfel opens its doors in Perpignan.
Marketing itself as “the first fruit and vegetable international business fair of the EuroMediterranea area”, Medfel hopes to attract around 6,000 visitors and 300 exhibitors, Medfel also promises to be “3 events in 1”.
The trade fair will run alongside a B2B meeting service, which is being established in advance through the event website. People and companies from all links in the supply chain can use the online facility to set up meetings during Medfel. And Europech, the annual meeting for the last 20 years, of European stonefruit producersand distributors, will also take place simultaneously.
