Moroccan veg exports are marginally up so far this season on last, although there are clear winners and losers in the category.

According to the country’s farm and fisheries ministry, vegetable sendings rose by two per cent to end March.

The main products were green beans, which reached 57,000 tonnes and courgettes some 38,000t.

But tomato and potato sendings both declined year on year.
