There is to be significant participation from Morocco at the World Fruit & Vegetable (WFV) Show 2009.

The country, which is one of the most important suppliers of fresh produce in the Mediterranean, has shown much interest in the British fruit and vegetable market.

Morocco already supplies many European markets. Innovative government policy has paid off, and the country enjoys a good reputation in the fresh produce industry.

A WFV organiser said: “We are delighted to have Moroccan exhibitors at our show - it would be a plus for our visitors to meet with potential suppliers from Morocco.”

In addition, one of the forums at the event wil be entitled ‘Moroccan Fresh Produce in the World’.
