Retailer’s Halloween range starts from just 59p to tempt kids
Morrisons is selling a range of low-cost pumpkins aimed at kids’ pocket money budgets for Halloween.
With prices starting from just 59p, Morrisons’ pumpkin range includes everything from Ghost pumpkins, munchkins and mixed squash to classic medium and large pumpkins.
Munchkins are selling for 59p, with medium pumpkins and mixed squash at 99p, large pumpkins at £1.99 and Ghost pumpkins £2.99.
The supermarket is also launching Halloween photo spots in 100 stores this month, where customers can “take family photographs in Morrisons’ ‘pumpkin patch’ style spooky areas and pick out a pumpkin”. It said this offers an affordable alternative to visiting traditional pumpkin patch farms.
Pete Lawrie, pumpkin buyer at Morrisons, said: “From large pumpkins to munchkins and Ghost pumpkins, there is a pumpkin for everyone at Morrisons this Hallowen.
”With prices starting from as little as 59p, our British-grown pumpkin range is perfect for building autumnal displays, carving pumpkins with family and friends, and for cooking pumpkin dishes this spooky season. New this year, our in-store Halloween photo spots will make for some playful pictures with friends and family when picking out pumpkins.”
