Cabbage, kale and potatoes among veg lines reduced to 37p as retailer cuts prices for second time this month to help shoppers cope with January squeeze
Morrisons has announced a second wave of price cuts to fresh produce with some veg lines reduced to 37p.

The promotion, which is available in stores and online until 1 February, sees veg including curly kale, cabbage, potatoes and green beans reduced by up to 66 per cent.
It comes after the retailer announced prices would reduce across 2,500 products, including fresh produce, earlier this month, as it aims to help shoppers navigate tight January budgets, and ”make it easier to start the year on a healthier, budget-friendly note”.
“We believe customers shouldn’t have to choose between value and great quality fresh food,” said Morrisons trading director for produce and horticulture, James Judd.
“By cutting the cost of some of our most popular veg to just 37p, we’re helping families eat well for less while staying true to our commitment to support produce farmers,” he added.
