Blakemore has announced Jerry Marwood will be taking over from Dennis Evans as managing director in December.
Evans oversaw development of Spar’s independent business, trading and distribution and was involved in the acquisition of Capper & Co Ltd.
Marwod was managing director of Spar UK in Harrow until he stepped down from the convenience retailer in September.
