National Fruit Show organisers appoint Catherine Paice as president to replace Teresa Wickham

Organisers of the annual National Fruit Show (NFS) – the Marden Fruit Show Society (MFSS) – appointed Catherine Paice as society and show president during its annual general meeting last week (19 April).

Paice takes over from Teresa Wickham, who stepped down after serving a three-year term.

Commenting on her appointment, Paice said: “I am delighted to accept the invitation to be the president of the Marden Fruit Show Society and I hope my experience and contacts will be invaluable to helping it to continue its work, especially in its 90th year.

”There is some fantastic innovation taking place in the sector as well as interesting technological developments and we look forward to showcasing more about these later in the year at the National Fruit Show.”

Dedicated to showcasing  British top and soft fruit, the 90th National Fruit Show will take place on 1-2 November at the Kent County Showground, Detling. Further information can be found at www.nationalfruitshow.org.uk
