Personal Catering has expanded its fleet with four new vehicles from Grays and Adams

Personal Catering, a part of Paris Express, has taken delivery of two single temperature 7.5 tonne Mercedes 815 vehicles and two 7.5t dual-temperature vehicles.

The company distributes a range of fresh produce to hotels, restaurants and catering companies throughout London using a fleet of 21 vehicles. The single temperature vehicles will used at its Covent Garden location, while the dual temperature ones will be used at it satellite location in Salisbury, which supplies both chilled and frozen foods.

The company acquired the vehicles from Gray & Adams. Graham Cosby, of Personal Catering said: “Gray & Adams kept us in close contact with us throughout the entire build process.”

The dual-temperature vehicles at Salisbury have 4640mm long bodies fitted with JR Industries TS 50C safeguard roller shutter doors. The smaller, 1250mm long front compartments are designed for the carriage of frozen products and are served by Frigoblock FK12 refrigeration systems. The larger, 3200mm long, chilled rear compartments are served by Frigoblock DL280 H fan kits.
