UK plant producer Thompson & Morgan has won the 'Best New Plant' award at the 2012 Garden Retail Awards for its foxglove plant 'Illumination Pink'.
The win follows a successful year for the plant, which also took home 'Plant of the Year' at this year's Chelsea Flower Show, and the Anglian Business Award for Innovation back in July.
Michael Perry, Thompson & Morgan's new product development manager, said: 'Illumination Pink is a triumph of plant breeding, it is everything other foxgloves aren't, a hardy perrenial which flowers non-stop for six months in never-before-seen colours.'
