Portuguese earn right to GROW

Wooden packaging for the fresh produce trade manufactured in Portugal can now use the GROW logo under licence from Embar, Portugal’s national association of wood packaging producers and recyclers. Already used in several European countries, GROW (Group Recycling of Wood) identifies wooden packaging manufactured according to technical standards and best practice that makes it suitable to contain, transport and protect fresh produce and identifies packaging that is recyclable.

The Portuguese can only use the GROW logo under licence from Embar.
