The 2025 British Tomato Conference will focus on a theme of ‘Driving Resilience and Innovation’.

The event on Thursday 25 September takes place at the Chesford Grange Hotel and Conference Centre in Warwickshire, and is billed as a platform for UK growers, allied industries, researchers and policy influencers to gather, learn and collaborate.

This year’s event will feature in-depth technical briefings, policy updates, and market intelligence focused on the strategic challenges and opportunities within protected cropping and glasshouse tomato production.

The programme includes:

  • Policy Deep Dive: Insights from Defra, NFU, and shadow minister Robbie Moore on food security and plant imports.
  • Market & Campaign Analysis: Consumer trends from Worldpanel by Numerator (formerly Kantar) and campaign insights from Jack & Grace Communications.
