PVGA makes new appointment

The Processed Vegetable Growers Association (PVGA) in Louth have announced the appointment of David Tebbutt as business development executive.

Tebbutt joins the company having had many years experience in the fresh produce industry, mainly within the brassica sector.

His main responsibility will be to develop the business of Market Intelligence Services (MIS) which has provided the industry with weekly retail price reports for over 10 years.

These reports have become an invaluable source of information to sales managers throughout the sector. MIS is a wholly owned subsidiary of PVGA.

Martin Riggal, chief executive of the PVGA, said: “ We are delighted to welcome David aboard, and we look forward to an exciting period in the development of MIS and our work with crop associations.”

Tebbutt added: “I am really looking forward to working with a great team of people in Louth and getting to know the existing clients and developing new opportunities.”
