Discounter has already spent over £30m reducing prices in 2024

Aldi has announced another round of price cuts on a range of fresh produce and everyday essentials.

Items such as fruit and vegetables, fish, and household cleaning products are among the latest reductions, with prices lowered by up to 13 per cent.  

The discounted products include 125g of Everyday Essentials raspberries, down 7p at £1.32, and 225g of Nature’s Pick Raspberries, 26p off at £2.39. Four Seasons Pineapple Slices (432g) are 4p off at 85p.

The latest round of cuts means Aldi has now spent more than £30 million in lowering prices in the first month of 2024, with reductions across around 100 lines.

Julie Ashfield, managing director of Buying at Aldi, said: “We’ve got 2024 off to an amazing start - investing more in price cuts than ever before to ensure our customers get the lowest prices possible.

“We’ve seen hundreds of thousands of customers shop with us for the first time in the past year, with significant savings to be had by simply switching to Aldi.”
