Quentin Willson will be the new host

Re:fresh will move venues for the first time in its seven-year history in 2010 and the Re:fresh Awards are set to be hosted by a new face.

The only annual conference and awards event for the entire UK fresh produce industry will take place at the InterContinental London Park Lane on 13 May.

The new host of the Re:fresh Awards will be motoring authority Quentin Willson, the former face of Top Gear and now perhaps best known as the creator and presenter of popular TV show Britain’s Worst Driver.

Organised by FPJ and the Fresh Produce Consortium, the one-day event features a daytime conference, with expanded exhibition capacity, followed by a black-tie awards ceremony at which the industry recognises the outstanding achievements of the last 12 months.

Re:fresh has previously attracted up to 220 conference delegates and 580 guests in the evening. It has also been supported by a select group of sponsors, and supply-chain software solutions provider Prophet and bagged salads specialist Florette will again be the main event sponsors this year. For more information on becoming a sponsor or exhibition stand availability, email tommy@fpj.co.uk

Full details of the Re:fresh Conference programme and the entry criteria for this year’s awards categories will be available by the end of January. A list of categories is available online at www.refresh.eu
