The entry criteria for the Re:fresh Awards 2010 is now available to download at www.refresh.eu/awards2010

There are still 12 categories to enter, but organisers FPJ and Fresh Produce Consortium have made two important additions this year.

For the first time, within the QV Fresh Approach Retailer of the Year category, there will be a fourth sub-category, for the best retail market trader of fruit, vegetables or flowers in the UK. And to open up the New Covent Garden Market Retail Florist of the Year category to more potential entrants, Re:fresh has teamed up with Florist & Wholesale Buyer magazine to directly target its readership and network of floristry contacts.

The full list of Re:fresh categories is:

• 5 A DAY Supporter of the Year

• Stubbins Innovation of the Year

• Prophet Marketing Campaign of the Year

• Capespan Wholesaler of the Year

• MVS Foodservice Supplier of the Year - National and Regional

• New Covent Garden Market Retail Florist of the Year

• QV Fresh Approach Retailer of the Year - Independent, Market Trader, Multiple and Convenience

• Fresh Direct Overall Produce Trader of the Year - selected from the winners of the categories above

The only cross-sector awards for the UK fresh produce trade will be handed out at a gala dinner on 13 May, at the InterContinental London Park Lane, following the Re:fresh Conference. The event is again sponsored by leading bagged salad supplier Florette and software solutions provider Prophet.

The criteria will also be in next week’s FPJ and the deadline for entries is 9 April. For more information on Re:fresh 2010 and to register for the event, go to www.refresh.eu
