New box showcases seasonal salad veg under retailer’s Taste the Difference range, aiming to celebrate summer harvest and offer shoppers convenience and value
Sainsbury’s has launched a ‘first to market’ British salad selection box under its premium Taste the Difference range.

The box, which includes two varieties of British-grown tomatoes, pointed peppers and a midi cucumber, is available online and in selected stores for six weeks.
Produce is sourced from long-term grower partners in Kent, the retailer said, designed to showcase the best of the summer harvest.
“The British growing season produces some fantastic salad ingredients and we’re delighted to bring together a selection of customer favourites in our new Taste the Difference Salad Selection Box,” said Sainsbury’s director of produce, Hannah O’Reilly.
“Made possible through our long-term relationships with British growers, it offers a convenient way to enjoy a selection of seasonal salad staples while delivering great value.
“It’s a celebration of the quality and variety of produce grown across the UK this summer,” she said.
Priced at £5 for 800g, the Salad Selection Box saves customers an average of 24 per cent compared with buying produce separately, Sainsbury’s said.
