New hire expected to drive global growth at robotic harvesting business

Robot harvesting firm Fieldwork Robotics has appointed agri-tech industry leader Seth Crawford as its new chair.
A recognised leader in the agriculture, construction, forestry and agri-tech sectors, Crawford has built a reputation for driving innovation, operational excellence and transformative growth across global businesses, according to Fieldwork Robotics.
He has held senior leadership roles at AGCO Corporation and Deere & Company, overseeing multi-billion-dollar divisions and pioneering initiatives in precision agriculture, AI, analytics and digital transformation.
During his time at Deere & Company, Crawford led marketing across Europe, the CIS, North Africa, India and the Near and Middle East.
Fieldwork Robotics said Crawford’s ”depth of experience, strategic vision and influence across the industry position him to guide Fieldwork Robotics as it strengthens its global market presence and further develops innovative berry-harvesting technology for growers.”
