The annual SOURCE Exhibition & Taste of the West Trade Show is taking place in Exeter on 19-20 April, where up to 200 South West and UK-based organisations will be showcasing their food and catering products and offerings.

The adjacent SOURCE exhibition will provide buyers with the platform to source products from wider UK and overseas companies and those offering services such as packaging, labelling, refrigeration, EPOS, shop-fitting, design, accountancy, recruitment and training.

Additionally, a host of free workshops involving influential industry spokespeople are in the plans. Exeter-based wine expert and broadcaster Susy Atkins, gift-wrapping and merchandising expert Arona Khan, Charlie Turnbull of Turnbull's and Dez Turland, group development chef at Brend Hotels, are some of the people conducting various workshops.

The show will also be the launch pad for the 2010 awards, where South West businesses can participate.

The Guild of Fine Food will be present, advising independent food sector businesses on how to maximise business relationships with retailers.
