Supajus, the new Omega-3 DHA enriched orange juice drink won first place in its category at the Scottish Food and Drink Excellence Awards. The awards recognises innovation, enterprise and quality in Scotland’s food and drink industry.

Supajus contains 0.1g of pure tuna oil (Omega-3 DHA), half the recommended daily intake, with no change to the consistency of the taste. It has recently been launched into school vending machines and Holland and Barrett health food stores by makers Natural Fruit and Beverage Company.

Jerry Luff, Nu-Mega Ingredients' business development manager, said: “Demand for healthier products in school vending machines is increasing. Children need to be eating a balanced diet and working with Nu-Mega ingredients, we have come up with a great tasting healthier orange juice drink presented as a fun and enjoyable experience.”
