Syngenta signs Asia-Pacific deal with Damco

Damco, a global logistics leader has signed a three-year contract to serve as the lead service provider for Syngenta’s operations for Asia-Pacific region.

The specialists in supply chain solutions and freight forwarding will arrange and manage Syngenta’s global shipments of raw materials and finished goods from factories throughout Asia.

Damco dynamically manages the supply chains of major multinational companies in a range of industries, allowing them to respond to rapid changes in market demand.

This minimises risk and cost, and ensures that goods arrive in full and on time at the right place.

“This contract is a testament to Damco’s position as a leading supply chain management provider in retail, technology and chemical industries,” said Rolf Habben Jansen, CEO of Damco.
