Tesco Ireland has welcomed potted shamrocks grown in County Dublin by G Thorne Nurseries’ Grainne Thorne.
Some 1,180 units have gone into 60 stores throughout the Republic of Ireland.
Shamrock pins, also grown by Thorne, are now on sale at 99c, or two for €1.50, across all stores.
