The Kent Potato Company has appointed Brian Edwards as general manager.
His experience includes seven years as commercial director/general manager at the Romney Marsh Potato Company and a stint as general manager of UK nurseries at Wight Salads. Tom Binet, MD of parent business The Jersey Royal Company, said: “Over the next 12 months, we will look to be pushing forward with The Kent Potato Company strategy, and Brian’s input and drive will be key to the success of these plans.” Full legal ownership of The Kent Potato Company trademark was acquired in March.
