Vitacress goes Dutch with Camino for new venture

UK fresh herb and salads producer Vitacress Ltd has joined forces with Camino Real BV, part of the Dutch fresh herb producing Gipmans Group to create a new joint venture company called Vitacress Real BV.

This new company will be based in Venlo in the Netherlands and will focus on building up customers in the Benelux and German markets.

Vitacress, through its VHB subsidiary is a market leader in cut and bunched herbs, and Gipmans through its subsidiary Especia BV is a renowned supplier of living herbs in pots.

Vitacress Real will offer a full range of fresh herbs: living, bunched and fresh-cut.

Kees van Poortvliet has been named as managing director and Marcel Verdellen as sales director at the new jv company.
