The new Volkswagen Transporter that goes on sale in the UK next month has been awarded Van of the Year 2003.
Judges at What Van? praised the diesel engine range, dynamics, safety features, cab design and outstanding quality.
What Van? said: "No matter which one you opt for, we doubt you'll be disappointed. Volkswagen's engineers have done a superb job in designing a family of frugal, smooth running, turbocharged powerplants generating maximum power and torque in all the right places."
The Transporter goes on UK sale on October 3.
