Managing director John McCann said: “We are regularly offered anti-mist films but they don’t perform. We’ve trialed PropaFresh PFAM extensively and we’ve found that it meets all out needs.” The company uses the film for its bagged salads range as it prevents moisture build-up in the pack.

”Without the appropriate anti-mist film performance, the packs can lose their desirable shelf appearance quickly. Our salads are high quality and therefore pack appearance is very important to convey to consumers the freshness of the product,” he said. PropraFresh is Surface Specialties latest development specifically for the pre-packed market and is available in 30-35 micron thickness and is heat sealable.
