Top three campaigns to be showcased at 2025 Seeka Marketer of the Year Showcase at Hort Connections in Brisbane

The International Fresh Produce Association Australia New Zealand (IFPA ANZ) and Produce Plus Magazine are pleased to announce the finalists for the 2025 Seeka Marketer of the Year Award (MOYA).

Now in its 14th year, MOYA continues to recognise outstanding achievement in the field of marketing within the Australasian fresh produce and floral industries.

The 2025 finalists in no particular order are:

• Elyse Allum, Hort Innovation – Australian Bananas ‘Banana Gym Pass’

• Sonia Gabauer, Driscoll’s Australia – Sweetest Batch Strawberries Campaign

• Sally Burtonwood, Zespri International – Healthier Ways

Each entry was assessed on how compelling the campaign was, its unique features, how appropriate the marketing tools were to the product and target audience, how well it was targeted at the particular market segment, and evidence of its success.

Produce Plus editor Liam O’Callaghan said the quality of this year’s campaigns was high.

“The effort put into this year’s entries and the creativity of the campaigns was amazing. It made narrowing down the finalists a very difficult task and finding a winner even harder, there were many campaigns worthy of recognition,” said O’Callaghan.

IFPA managing director ANZ Belinda Wilson said: “At IFPA ANZ, we’re proud to recognise industry-leading marketing that inspires healthier choices and celebrates the role fresh produce and floral plays in our daily lives. We congratulate this year’s finalists for their creativity, impact and contribution to driving consumption”.

Rhian Ecclestone, Seeka marketing and communications manager said the quality of entries this year was impressive.

“It was hard to pick a winner with so many innovative and bold campaign strategies – fearlessly pushing boundaries while masterfully harnessing a rich mix of marketing mediums to deliver impact and inspiration,” said Ecclestone.

The three finalists will showcase their campaigns on the trade show floor at Hort Connections on Friday 6 June from 2:40pm – 3:00pm at the Red Stage, Trade Show Presentation Area.

The winner of the 2025 Seeka Marketer of the Year Award, presented by IFPA ANZ and Produce Plus will be announced with the results of the other Horticulture Awards for Excellence at the Hort Connections Gala Dinner on 6 June.

IFPA ANZ and Produce Plus congratulate this year’s finalists and thank all nominees for their impressive entries.
