Terra Exports has added to its new South American division, with Manuel Escandon joining the team.
Based in Chile, Escandon brings more than two decades of experience in the fresh produce industry to the Los Vegas-headquartered company. He has specialised in the trade of fruit into and out of Chile, Peru and Argentina.
“Joining Terra Exports was an easy decision – I know the work team and I know their operations,” Escandon said. “It is a very dynamic company, and I was excited to work in a company that does business around the world.
“Thanks to my experience and knowledge of the industry, I know I will have great achievements here. I have a clear mission of growing the business in Chile, Argentina, and Peru in the short term, and am excited to be a part of Terra Exports’ long-term vision.”
Terra Exports’ South American division was launched in January with the aim of servicing a global customer base. It has a specific focus on the supply of tropical fruits.
