Global fruit company Dole and Joy Wing Mau, one of China’s leading fruit company’s, have teamed up to establish strategic cooperation for the first time.

Together they will pour their efforts into new projects that will further strengthen their cooperation and lead to mutual benefit.

Joy Wing Mau and Dole organised a contract-signing ceremony at the Joy Wing Mau Shenzhen Operations Centre.

Attendees from Dole China’s packaged foodstuffs and drinks team included president and board chair Yang Tong, director head of sales Ma Renxing, and director head of marketing Li Guangyi.

Also in attendance was Jason Zhang, president of Joy Wing Mau. The signing of the agreement also coincided with the launch of a brand-new product—the Dole fruit cup.

Board chair and president Yang Tong acknowledged both Dole’s 170 years of experience in the fruit and processed fruit product market and Joy Wing Mau’s intimate knowledge of the Chinese market.

Zhang, president of Joy Wing Mau, said the group has secured supply from the most im-portant fruit production areas across the world and provides a platform for specialised and comprehensive fruit industry services.

Joy Wing Mau has previously established long-term strategic partnerships with other leading fruit brands including Zespri, T&G, Hortifrut, Driscoll's, and Rockit.

Zhang said Joy Wing Mau will take this chance to set up a strategic brand category unit, dedicated to serving these world-renowned brands, investing the equivalent resources as its own product line in an effort to develop them more in Chinese market.
